Jake Weary, Sean O’Pry, Hannah Galway & Sadie Dickerson To Lead Prime Video’s ‘Rose Hill’

Prime Video has set its leads for *Rose Hill*, the television adaptation of Elsie Silver's bestselling romance novel series. Jake Weary (*Animal Kingdom*, *The Waterfront*) will play West Belmont, a rancher with commitment issues, while model-turned-actor Sean O'Pry takes on the brooding love interest. Hannah Galway (*Under the Banner of Heaven*) and Sadie Dickerson (*Just In Time*) round out the core cast. The series explores the tangled friendships and romances of neighbours in a small ranching community.

The project is based on the first book in Silver's 'Rose Hill' series, which has built a passionate fanbase in the romance-lit space. Prime Video is positioning the show as a steamy drama in the vein of *Virgin River* but with a younger, more emotionally raw edge. The casting of O'Pry — best known as a male supermodel — signals a deliberate push for visual appeal and cross-platform buzz. Production is expected to begin later this year in Canada, with a premiere window still unannounced.
